Moose Soccer Training is a youth development program focused on helping young players master the fundamentals of the game and increase their confidence with the ball, in an enjoyable environment.
The skills that are taught will push players' limits by challenging them according to their individual ability. This program prides itself on developing stand out players who are exciting to watch, or what the coaching world refers to as having "flair."
We create game scenarios to improve each player's decisions and technical execution. We teach proper body movement and mechanics while pushing the limits of the player to think and play faster. Individuals will experience a dynamic training setting to prepare for every level they go on to pursue. Players will be motivated to succeed, not discouraged by the learning process.
Our program includes boys and girls ages 7-18 and caps each group at 10 players to assure individual attention. Don't miss your chance to join us, register today!

Justin Moose has more than a decade of professional playing experience and holds a USSF “B” license. Justin began his coaching career while he was still in high school and at the Wake Forest summer camps. He also has experience coaching for Charlotte Soccer Club; Freestate Soccer Alliance in Bowie, Maryland; North Shore Soccer Club in Vancouver, Canada; and has volunteered his time to various youth programs as well as running his own soccer clinics during the off-season.
A native of Statesville, N.C., Justin played youth soccer in Charlotte and excelled within the Olympic Development Program (ODP). Ranked as the seventh-best high school player in the Class of 2006 by Soccer America, Justin was recruited by UNC, Stanford and Furman, among others, and accepted a scholarship to Wake Forest University where he set the all-time school assist record; earned ACC rookie of the year in 2002; NSCAA 1st Team All-American honors (2004, 2005); won two regular season ACC championships (2002, 2004); was a finalist for the MAC Hermann Trophy his senior year; and set the ACC record for most assists in a game (four - all tallied during just the first half). During this time, he was also named the 2004 Professional Development League (PDL) rookie of the year and spent a semester away from Wake Forest to play on the U-20 U.S. national team.
Selected seventh overall in the 2006 MLS SuperDraft by D.C. United, Justin played with the MLS side for two seasons, and won the Supporters' Shield both seasons, before moving to Canada to play for the Vancouver Whitecaps. During his three seasons there, he reached two league finals and provided the game winning assist in the 2008 championship after scoring a crucial goal in the semi-final.
Following Vancouver, Justin spent one season in Thailand with Sriracha F.C. of the Thai Premier League before making the jump to Finland to play with Seinäjoen Jalkapallokerho (SJK). He played for the Finnish club for three seasons and helped propel the team to promotion into the Vekkausliiga – Finland’s top division. He was integral in helping the team earn a Europa League qualifying position and winning the Suomen (Finnish) Cup in 2014.
After reconnecting with his former coach Carson Porter, the North Carolina native returned to his home state to finish his career with the Wilmington Hammerheads. He retired from playing in 2016 and now resides in the Port City with his wife and son, and is eager to translate his playing experience into a coaching career that will successfully impact and motivate the next generations of soccer players.

Justin Moose has a reputation of being a talented soccer player and a great colleague/teammate/trainer.
But don't take our word for it — read below!
"I had the privilege to train with Justin many times as a young player. Justin's training style made me think the game. Justin helped me with technique, vision, competitiveness and an ability to adapt. Justin believes it is important to learn the intricacies of the game (i.e. movement to receive the ball, body shape when receiving the ball, ability to play 1-2 touch) Not only that, but I looked up to Justin as a role model and person. I went to Wake Forest to follow in his footsteps. His career allowed me to dream to play in MLS." - Jared Watts
Colorado Rapids Defender; three-time All-ACC at Wake Forest University; Captain of U-17 U.S. National Team
"I've known Justin since our time together at Wake Forest and though I've played 12 years as a pro, I haven't come across many players more skillful with a ball at their feet than him. I could tell from the beginning that Justin loves the game and loves the ball; two important aspects of any good player or coach." - Michael Parkhurst
Four-time MLS All Star; 2007 MLS Defender of the Year; 2004 MLS Rookie of the Year; played in the Danish Superliga and German Bundesliga; represented the U.S .National team in two Gold Cups
"Justin is a very skillful player whom I had the pleasure of playing with for D.C .United. Very quick feet and tricky with the ball" - Freddy Adu
Youngest player ever to sign a MLS pro contract for any team sport at age 14; MLS and U.S. National Team experience; and has represented clubs in Serbia, Portugal and Finland.
"Justin is a top professional and has a great work ethic. He was able to handle the ball in tight areas with quick feet. His nickname was 'twinkle toes' from his dazzling footwork to beat defenders. I'm sure Justin will be very successful in his coaching career and has all the attributes to succeed." - Liam Miller
Irish International; Celtic youth and first team; six seasons in England with various clubs: Manchester United, Leeds United, Sunderland, Queens Park Rangers; and two years in Australia's A-League. Finished career with Wilmington Hammerheads in 2016.
"Justin is very skillful with the ball and fast." - Jaime Moreno
World Cup star; 1997 MLS golden boot winner; five-time MLS Best XI; MLS Cup MVP; 133 MLS goals; Four MLS Cups; Four Supporters' Shields; first Bolivian in the English Premier League (EPL).
"The individual training I received from Justin was phenomenal. He really emphasized the technical aspect of the game along with the physical demands of the modern game. His individual training gave me an edge over opponents to gain technical skill, speed, strength and confidence. Justin is a quick, skillful and intelligent player that can take [a player] to another level." - Jake Gusler
Sporting Kansas City Youth Academy
"I've played with and against Justin Moose since the age of 12. We've competed on many levels of the game with the highest being at the pro level in Major League Soccer. The main characteristics that stood out about Justin were his technical and creative abilities on the ball. A lot of players have ideas and imagination on the field, but few players have the ability and confidence to execute them. Justin was one of those few players. He was a real talent and a joy to watch." - Ricardo Clark
Three-time MLS All-Star; 2006 MLS Best XI; 34 International appearances for the US National Team including starts in 2010 World Cup, 2009 Confederations Cup, 2007 Gold Cup, and 2007 Copa America.
